Serving on City Council is a great way to be a part of implementing the change you hope to see in our community. City Council sets the annual City budget, passes local laws called ordinances, and carefully prioritizes City goals based on the resources available to us. To run for a City Council spot, you must file an "Application for a Place on the Ballot" at City Hall by the filing deadline for the next election.​​
